Cox Orange Pippin

Crisp, rich and aromatic

One of the oldest apple varieties, Cox Orange, also known as Cox Orange Pippin, was bred by a retired brewer, Richard Cox, in the 1820's in his orchard in Colnbrook, England.

Tasting notes
Cox Orange is a go-to early season variety with a red blush to stripe on a light yellow skin. This apple has an appetising firm, crisp texture with a rich sprightly sub-acid aromatic flavour. The Cox Orange brings a flavour punch from the very beginning of the apple season.

 In season: March - June
